In 2013, Government asked 39 LEPs to draw up a seven-year strategy for investing a notional allocation of ESIF.

The Thames Valley Berkshire allocation is one of the smallest in the country at approximately £25m for 2014-2020, comprising:

    We submitted a refreshed draft ESIF Strategy to Government in November 2016. We are clear that it will be a key strand in delivering the Thames Valley Berkshire Strategic Economic Plan (SEP).  Our intention is that it will be used to accelerate the delivery of some of the key programmes in our SEP. The role of the LEP and partners is an advisory one whilst decisions will remain with the Managing Authorities.
